Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Assisting with bookkeeping, payroll, and tax preparation using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, and Drake.
- Supporting monthly close processes, journal entries, and reconciliations under the guidance of senior accountants.
- Maintaining financial records and preparing client reports in compliance with U.S. GAAP standards.
- Collaborating with tax and finance teams to ensure timely filing and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Analyzing financial statements and assisting in preparing documentation for audits or reviews.
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software (preferred)
- Attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excel and Google Sheets proficiency
- Understanding of U.S. GAAP or international accounting (preferred)
